Alain Beauregard
Buddhist Teacher - Physicist and Entrepreneur
Alain Beauregard is a Rigpa senior teacher as well as a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism since 1995. He is a physicist by training and a high-tech entrepreneur. Alain lives in Montreal and has been teaching healing internationally since 2011, based on his own healing story.

At the age of 46, Alain was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer which was inoperable and had spread to such a point that his doctors said he was incurable. In less than 3 months of receiving chemotherapy combined with working on the emotional cause of disease and doing spiritual healing practices, his cancer went into complete remission. Alain has been cancer-free to this date.

This life-changing experience inspired Alain to give public talks and workshops about the powerful tools that Tibetan Buddhism offers to deepen our perspective on illness and introduce us to a spiritual approach to healing that considers our entire being, not just the body.

Alain hosts lectures, weekends and retreats in English and French on the emotional and spiritual approach to healing, based on Buddhist teachings and his own healing experience.
My Story of Complete Healing
Prepare your things said my oncologist. You have an aggressive bladder cancer, of the sarcoma type. The tumour is large and has metastasized in your spine, hip bones, rib cage and left lung. This cancer is incurable and inoperable.
I asked how long I had. Three to six months, she said, may be more with chemotherapy. They had done all the tests and consulted a board of cancer experts. They tested the best chemotherapy on the actual cancer cells taken from my body through a biopsy. The response was 20%, One cancer cell out of five were killed. So there was no hope for healing,

I took the chemotherapy and followed my doctor's advice, trusting they would do their best for my body. But what about my mind? Could I do something to help the treatments? After receiving instructions from my Tibetan teacher, I began some powerful healing practices based on visualization and mantra recitation. I also had an insight that some of the causes of the cancer could be of an emotional nature. I looked into it.

After 10 weeks of intense practice and introspection, the scan results came back. There was no more cancer in my body. My oncologist was shocked and could not explain it. There is no scientific explanation for sure, and I won't try to offer one. All I can do is share this experience of healing and the key principles of the emotional and spiritual approach to healing that guided me. In the hope that it can inspire you on your own path of healing. And you don't need to be a Buddhist.
